The pancakes thing was this girl that wouldn't eat them because they were originally made (thousands of years ago) to worship the sun god Ra, and since she believed that the Christian god is the only true god, pancakes were offensive to her, and she refused to eat them. I get offended when people, usually men, talk to me like I am a child. You know the ones who assume you cannot have both brains and ovaries, and they call you things like "honey". Grrr. Hmmm, I am offended by the incorrect use of the word "retard" or "that's retarded". Same with "that's gay" when they are both being used as pejorative. Other than picking on people for being who/what they were born as, I am pretty tough to offend.
