Caramel Crabapples, 8×12″ print from Helen Dujardin, $35

A photo of 25 year old Phineas Gage was recently discovered, taken shortly after his 1848 accident. He’s still kind of hot in an old-timey kind of way, even with one eye, and his photo is pretty bad-ass.

This explanation of the movie Up nails exactly what made it so great.

A baby dik-dik was born at the Chester Zoo. Cu-ute!

The Design Inspiration posted these incredible latte art photos.

A 16 year old girl is attempting to be the youngest person to sail solo around the world. Go Abby!

Unless you live under a rock, you’ve by now heard that the iPad was introduced by Apple on Wednesday.  This spawned a record-breaking number of feminine hygiene product jokes to surge the internet.  Jezebel rounded up some of the best.

This movie looks like it’s going to hit a little too close to home for me.  I was known for many things in my younger days, not one of them was “cool”.

Happy weekend.

  1. OMG YES to the UP explanation! Feelings being put into words – the right words – is always a wonderful feeling. Thank you.

  2. The dik-dik is adorable. They look like they are part bird part deer.
