Star Wars vintage-style travel posters by Justin Van Genderen, $17 each, from ImageKind.com

A History of Obama Feigning Interest in Mundane Things from New York Magazine made me giggle.

I know this is dorky, but it’s so fun to change my Twitter background each month. I’m picking one of these for March, from Totally Severe.

Twenty funny ice skating faces.

Edited to add: Yao, don’t. Just… don’t.
The birth story of Nella Cordelia had me breathless and weeping. It is one of the most beautiful and difficult things I’ve ever read. Love me. Love me. I’m not what you expected, but oh, please love me.

GeekDad talks about racism and kids.

Japanese girls who don’t have a suitable boyfriend are renting them for the holiday to shut up their worried parents.

Cheers to your weekend!

  1. Well, I read it. It was a mistake and I cried like a baby. Thanks for the warning, though. Luckily, I saved the funny ice-skating faces until AFTER :)

  3. I haven’t had the chance to look at all these bits of linky goodness yet because I have two papers due. :/
    BUT…
I want to know if you are interested in taking part in the sketchbook project on my blog. If so I’ll add your blog address to the list. If you want to, someone (whichever person has the sketchbook) will contact you for your address and send the book to you, then you decorate a few pages and pass it on to the next blogger on the list. C’mon. It’ll be fun!
