I’ll be out of town for a few days attending a funeral for the little daughter of old friends.

    I am so sorry. Hugs and tissues will be very important in the next little while.

    There was a very honest momversation episode about this a last month (Loss of a Child: What Do You Say?) – that brought up some interesting points.

    My goodness, Amber. I think your willingness to be there with them at this difficult time will say more than words possibly could. Good luck and God bless them. This is so, so sad.

    Funny, isn’t it, how this is one situation that makes words almost useless? We bloggers can fill up screen after screen but something like this renders us wordless.

    I read this yesterday and I’ve been trying to thing of something comforting to say, but words fail me. My heart breaks for baby Lydia’s parents… I can’t even begin to imagine what they’re feeling right now… I think I would be devastated beyond the point of any words being able to help… but I would want my friends there with me. You’re a good friend, Amber. Just be there for them. It’s the best thing you can do.
