Happy Friday!

It’s supposed to rain all weekend, and then all next week, in New York. Bummer! But I’m hoping the upside will be that the pollen count chills out and I’ll be able to breathe again. Everyone is saying this is the worst allergy season in years, but then again, everyone always says that.

The flowers above are anemones. I checked before I bought them: they don’t make me sneeze. We are sprucing up our apartment these days; we put more shelves up, got a new bed and picked out storage. This feels a little like setting up showers on the deserted island you’ve been stranded on for a while. You don’t REALLY want to, because it’s admitting you might be stuck there for a while, but you know that you should. We’ve been looking for a new place for a while, but nothing is just right.
