My good friend Esther’s dog Alfie passed away yesterday. He was suddenly diagnosed with cancer a few short months ago, and held on until he just couldn’t. He was only six. I was honored to have been able to take photos of Esther and her buddy.

    I’m so sorry for your loss, Esther. It’s just horrible to lose them.

    Between this gorgeous boy and Suebob’s Goldie yesterday was a crappy day for dog lovers.
