If you email me and say, “This might be a weird email, but i hope not! I don’t know how many people contact you and ask to see you irl.. But, i am going to be in Brooklyn…i wanted to see if you’d be up for a drink or something!” I will not think it is a weird email. I will be happy. Really, really happy. And I will meet you, and we will go to the park, and have brunch, and walk around DUMBO, and take pictures, and I will talk you out of bothering with Grimaldies, and you can take photos of me doing something strange with my hand under some scaffolding. WHAT AM I DOING WITH MY HAND?!

For the life of me, I don’t know why I haven’t done one of these before. I’ve always liked them. This is my most recent 25 favorites from Flickr. I made it with Big Huge Lab‘s mosaic maker. It is a cheerful way to start a Monday, I think.

Every year I do a gift list of things I would want to post on my blog, but this year, I’d like you to tell me what YOU would like. (Include links if you have them). It can be literally anything… a $5 kitchen gadget you’d love in your stocking or a world-class month-long vacation to some place exotic and fabulous. It can be intangible, like world peace, or far-fetched, like a nice-smelling, sharply dressed, sexy-haired, twinkly-eyed, well-employed (and well-endowed!) husband who loves to cook. Electronics.
