Happy

without comments

It is four-thirty in the morning. I just got back from opening day in Oriole Park at Camden Yards, which is in Baltimore. (People always are shocked that Rob and I are willing to drive three to four hours one way and back in the same day. It’s not so bad if you listen to four bajillion podcasts, though). The Orioles played the Yankees for their opening day, and they slaughtered them. It was demoralizing, but then again, it’s always nice when the home team wins their first game, you know?

I am wide awake, checking and re-checking my notes for tomorrow’s this morning’s interview. They’re a two-person band; my first musicians, and the first Hey Brooklyn interview from our apartment studio. They’re playing two songs along with an interview, and I think this is just so unbelievably cool.

You wouldn’t believe the weekend I had. I’ll tell you about it later. It was stellar.

In case you haven’t noticed: I am happy.

I’ve been reading Holly’s blog forever, and this is one of the best posts she’s done.

I actually sat here reading and crying. Enjoy.
