The first time we walked by this house (which is a few blocks away from our apartment), Rob said, “Someone REALLY loves their daughter.”

I don’t know why this brownstone is painted bubblegum pink, but a lost bet seems likely. (the photo doesn’t do it justice – it’s REALLY PINK) It’s kinda cute, in a quirky eyesore kind of way.

This month MAC is launching a new product line called the Sugar Sweet collection, and this photo from their ad campaign is just so perfect.  I haven’t bought new fun makeup since 2007 when Carissa convinced me to buy “sumptious olive” eye shadow for my wedding. I might be overdue.

My friend Eva came down from Montreal to go to a convention in New York and she brought me a bag of fun-to-photograph-but-not-fun-to-eat Hello Kitty strawberry marshmallows.

They have strawberry goo in the center, which takes something that is “gross” and elevates it to a whole new level of disgusting. I bit into one and nearly died.
